Measuring 'nature': between biology and social sciences

This report examines methods for measuring biodiversity and ecosystem services, highlighting the methodological choices and trade-offs involved. We analyse the main variables and indicators used to quantify these dynamics, adopting an approach that combines ecological science and environmental economics. I mainly contributed to the sections 1 to 3 and harmonized the writing style.
